TRICO Corporation welcomes and invites you to "Experience the Dawn"
Recognizing the need… Early in 1987, a group of Mental Health, Education, Medical, and Religious Professionals gathered to discuss the increasing need of individuals to receive more than the traditional services of their respective professions. It was within this atmosphere of experience, care, and concern that TRICO Corporation was envisioned. And from this vision came the reality of providing a wide range of care, treatment, and evaluative services - within the context of ONE PRIVATE NONPROFIT CORPORATION.

Person-Centered…

We focus on the individual no matter the complexity of the issues presented. Our services are based on the goals of the individual. Implementation of treatment and services follow examination and evaluation of internal and external issues, if any, to those goals.

For all Ages…

Because of the increasing complexities in living for ALL AGE GROUPS, we provide specialized assessment, care, and treatment for emotional issues of the total life span FROM EARLY CHILDHOOD THROUGH MATURE ADULTHOOD.

Some specific areas of care and treatment:

  •  Psychiatric Medical Care
  •  Pharmacology short and long term counseling
  •  Evaluations
  •  Crisis Intervention
  •  Delinquency prevention & counseling
  •  Substance abuse prevention & counseling
  •  Suicide prevention
  •  Sexual abuse treatment (Survivors & Offenders)
  •  Depression counseling
  •  Grief counseling
  •  Marriage and family counseling
  •  Behavior Management Plans
  •  Career & Vocational counseling
  •  Guidance issues
  •  Dying & Death

In addition to the above services, many of our short and even long term goals have been indirectly met through TRICO staff participation in: Mental health, alcoholism and drug abuse advisory Council (Chair) Education Advisory Council, Teen Center Board of Directors, Maryland Tomorrow program, Recreation programs, Hospitals seminars, School recreational activities (all levels).
